While remote or hybrid work may seem unattainable, this session will help you explore the opportunities available in the industries you are most interested in. Our coaches will guide you through finding quality remote or hybrid work, how to craft your resume for those opportunities, how to interview for remote or hybrid jobs, and how to find training opportunities in industries that are remote or hybrid work-friendly. Don’t wait to join us to debunk the mysteries of remote or hybrid work opportunities! A member of the SkillUp team will also do an overview on how to break into a desired remote role through leveraging Apprenticeships. Apprenticeships fall into many industries and not just skilled trades!

Our career coaching sessions are for anyone! Whether you are just beginning to explore new careers or know exactly what you want to do, but are unsure how to get started, we are here to help.

What Will I Learn in Coaching Sessions?

Our session topics range from job interview tips, to networking best practices, to building confidence in your career search. Sessions also include time to ask our professional career coaches your own questions.

How are Career Coaching Sessions held?

Sessions take place on Zoom with two career coaches leading the group. You'll learn from our coaches, practice new skills in small groups and get support from other job seekers!

You'll get a confirmation email with more details on the upcoming session plus the information you need to join. Please note that each group is limited to no more than 30 people so we can provide more small group support.

All you need to participate is an internet-connected mobile device or computer. You should also have a notebook and pen or pencil for taking notes and doing skill building exercises.
